Traveller’s Project

This successful project helps young people from our local travelling community grow both academically and socially.

The Harrow Club has been working with our local traveller community since 2008. We run a very unique project with them that focuses on their academic achievements through the support of a homework club for young people aged between 8 and 15.

Alongside the homework, we help the young people with their personal development and integration into the local community by introducing them to other opportunities. Over the time we have been working together, we have seen success both academically and socially, from improved grades to participation in other Harrow Club activities. Through the constant development of this project, we have also run holiday programmes and residentials with the traveller community.

The Traveller Homework Club is currently being funded by the Peter Stebbings Memorial Charity who rescued this valuable project.
